Rosen Aviation were the winners of the Cabin Design – Concept Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2022.

Maverick Commercial VR was always the next evolution in The Maverick Project ethos, taking dynamic, predictive and seamless technology integrations from a business / VIP environment to a first / business class commercial environment.

While the feedback following Maverick 1.0 was phenomenal, Rosen Aviation wanted to further enhance the impact by making their commercial experience immersive through virtual reality. The cabin design highlights clean, minimalist lines with sophisticated textures and materials to create bespoke, luxurious personal spaces for VIP travellers. Technology is intentionally hidden or seamlessly integrated, made visible only when needed or in use.

The immersive 3D VR experience elevates what The Maverick vision encompasses to an entirely new level, allowing the audience to feel the cabin-of-the-future, not simply watch it. Looking from one end of the cabin to the other while in the VR experience truly gives the sensation of travelling at 30,000 feet in the world’s most stunning cabin concept.

Much of the technology in Maverick 1.0 is extremely versatile, making similar, albeit unique, adoptions in other platforms a simple task. This allows design to flourish, as the only limitation is the imagination, much in the way Maverick 1.0 eliminated so many design challenges through seamlessly integrated technology. All of the functionality is at the passenger’s fingertips, there when you need it but invisible when you don’t.

The critical piece to take away from Rosen’s Maverick Project First / Business Class VR Experience is that their vision is more reality than concept. The design is intentionally disruptive and impactful, but carefully crafted with a focus on contemporary styling; the technology is real and supported by Rosen development projects; and most importantly, the passenger experience is the ultimate priority.
