New Based Family Owned Company Philip Jeffries Take The Bold Step to Put Their Clients & Employees First At A Time When This Is Precisely What Is Needed

For 44 years, Phillip Jeffries and the Bershad family have been dedicated to one singular purpose: to be the world’s best wall covering company.

In the past, most companies in the design industry were family-owned businesses – businesses dedicated to their clients and to their employees. Many of these companies have been around 30, 50 or even 100 years!

Today, this is not the case. Many companies in the design industry are owned by Private Equity or by conglomerates. While the brands are the same, the mentality is different. Huge amounts of debt are loaded on the companies and in many cases, the goal is singular: profit at all costs.

Maybe Phillip Jeffries is a throw-back to the past, but we believe we have a responsibility to the nearly 200 employees who depend on us for their families’ livelihoods.

This is the reason we have made the decision NOT to layoff or furlough any employees. Instead, we are collectively tightening our belts AND braving this storm together. The PJ team will remain together to provide you with the same level of service that you have come to rely on over the years.

While most of the team is working from home – answering your calls, checking stock, doing project shops and tracking orders – our warehouse, stocked full of approximately 1 million yards of wall covering, remains open shipping orders and samples daily.

You can rest assured that orders placed with Phillip Jeffries will be fulfilled as we keep our promise to you – to inspire a more beautiful world, one wall as a time.
