Naomi Astley Clarke have been shortlisted for Bathroom Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards.

The clients for this glamorous London townhouse wanted to turn a small bedroom into an ensuite bathroom, whilst adhering to the design brief Naomi Astley Clarke has created a bathroom that should stand the test of time.  The designers were required to create a luxury bathroom space that was to be hidden behind panelled wardrobes and for the panelled look to continue on into the bathroom, creating a sense of serenity throughout.

The subtle colours and tones that were incorporated made the space so calming and relaxing, which is necessary for a luxurious bathroom. Naomi Astley Clarke also designed and created lots of storage space which meant that everything was neatly hidden away, and the space could sing freely. The design was in keeping with the rest of the house, which is a smart Battersea townhouse, in an area of which the designer has worked on multiple other projects in the past.

Naomi Astley Clarke’s favourite aspect of the project was the herringbone marble that was used for the flooring. Naomi ensures that all of the finishes in her projects are timeless; and that they integrate perfectly into the wider environment and architecture of the building.
