Estilo Architects have been shortlisted for Residential £2.5 – 5 Million (Project Value) Award in The International Design and Architecture Awards.

The realisation of this opulent and contemporary home was driven by the camaraderie of Estilo Architects. The luxury villa in Palm Jumeirah has an incredible design theme that combines all of the team’s creative ideas into one beautiful reality. The 9,500 sq.ft family residence which boasts 4 bedrooms, an office, cinema and rooftop bar is located in Frond L and displays magnificent views of the beach and Dubai marina skyline.

Estilo Architects’ intent was to create multiple areas for the family members, resulting in two main structures. These then formed the double volumed space – a defining characteristic which makes the home shine. The use of earthy materials, natural tones and high-end brands define the client’s taste of luxury. Overall, the design of the architecture and interiors work together to let in light and natural colours. The calming hues of the sea and greenery found in the surrounding Palm Jumeirah scenery is able to be seen from any point of this villa.

The design embraces grandeur on all levels. From mass of space the architects had to work with to the location and views it provides, the exterior sets the tone for the property as a whole. With this in mind, Estilo Architects were largely inspired to create an outside-to-inside design scheme for the interiors. This blend of nature into the home creates enlarged family spaces for the clients; the design was created not only for the family’s dream home but as a new way living which has transformed their lifestyle. The elegance that the interior carries stems from the thoughtful design scheme in collaboration with the luxury brands that were used throughout. These include Fendi Furniture, and Henge feature lights which are highlighted by automated louvers in the double height spaces.

The interiors required the specialities of all the Estilo team. The designer’s awareness of sustainability was needed to create the indoor wall garden. This feature creates balance, connection and serenity throughout the interior and exterior of the villa. It transforms the wall into art, becoming a masterpiece in it’s own right. Artisan skills were also needed in order to feature marble throughout the home, in designated areas on both floors and walls.
