Unity is the result of when elements in a space combine to make a balanced, harmonious and complete whole. This is what CK Architecture has achieved with their project on the 105th Floor of the Burj Khalifa. The designers spent a lot of time on the concept stage to ensure that the client and his family were at the forefront of the design, with their lifestyle and requirements being considered.
My Design Background: I think I was born to design, with creativity running in my DNA. Though I have acquired my formal education as a fashion designer, I have always had a keen interest in creating enthralling spaces. In addition, having travelled extensively throughout the world as a child, I was not only exposed to the various design sensibilities but this exposure was also instrumental in my voyage into this industry.
What direction is design moving towards? I have been designing for almost three generations now and I believe there has been a vertical movement in interior design with the revival of the old using modern technology. With the Internet revolution- the influence of international trends blending with local heritage cultures can be seen in every aspect of design, whether it is fashion or interiors.
design et al only work with the world’s leading designers.
