Architecture Awards

For more than 17 years, The International Design & Architecture Awards have supported leading practices worldwide, creating a platform that brings together top names in the industry for an international celebration of design excellence. To be shortlisted is widely regarded as one of the highest forms of recognition within the profession.

As you may know, this is not just an entry into a competition, like other Awards. If your application is successfully shortlisted by the design et al Magazine panel, you’ll receive an extensive PR and editorial package throughout the year ahead of the Awards Ceremony in London.

Unlike many award programmes, this is more than a single event. Projects shortlisted by our editorial panel receive year-round coverage through a dedicated PR and editorial package, ahead of the Awards Ceremony in London. Our voting system also sets us apart: rather than being decided by a small judging group, the 2025 Awards attracted a record 121,000 industry professionals who cast their votes across a four-week period, each vote taking on average 38 minutes to complete. This ensures the results reflect the voice of the wider design community, making the process both fair and representative.
