This standout apartment designed by Joe Farah Studio, boasts a stylish interior that required a personalised approach to its lighting; something simple yet sophisticated. Hence, it was necessary to introduce two key elements into the space; hierarchy and connectivity.

The visual connection and the play of contrast are not to be missed in this space, they shape the implemented lighting philosophy. By introducing discreet ambient lighting into stereotypically forgotten spaces, Hilights Sal evoke comfort throughout the apartment, a smooth and consistent transition from one space to another is created.

The idea of hierarchy employs accent lighting to highlight key architectural elements and their functions, the importance within the general space also balances between ambient and accent lighting. As the public areas in the apartment are open plan a complex yet simple dimming system was introduced in order for the clients to highlight specific living areas independently. Allowing them to create zones and a feeling of privacy when desired.

In the dining area the lighting is much more prominent. A unique piece designed by Maurice Asso “the egg”, one of a three-series collection floating above the dining table to serve as a cluster of light, combining both functional and decorative illumination, creating a uniquely lit and captivating visual zone and drawing the eye to the heart of the entertainment area within the property.

Rabieh 622 is a picture-perfect illustration of modern lighting design at its best. Hilights Sal extended their attention to all details of the property, lighting also extends to the exterior where it creates a certain harmony between the inside and outside the apartment.
