ARTEFACT BY NOBISKRUG
Nobiskrug have been shortlisted for the Interior Design Award – Motor Yacht in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
ARTEFACT’s styling began with the intent for her on board experience: expansive views in all directions, on board privacy between areas both indoors and outdoors, grand public spaces and intimate private ones. When imagined in three dimensions these requirements create a yacht where house sides weave in and out, windows are singular and massive, overhangs have been stripped away or re-defined and the geometry of the yacht herself creates privacy and shelter.
LEL BY ROSSINAVI
Rossinavi have been shortlisted for Motor Yacht over 40 Metres Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
The 50 metre, LEL, is an under 500 GT full custom boat, made for an experienced yacht owner with specific requirements. The owner wanted a fast and sporty yacht like the ones that he had previously owned, but this time with larger indoor volumes and more deck space. He wanted something where comfort would be masked by aggressive lines. Rossinavi took inspiration from four-wheel drive sports cars, that combine comfort and space with sporty lines. The key word here is versatility.
M/Y HAZE BY LAWSON ROBB & EXTRA YACHTS
Lawson Robb have been shortlisted for the Interior Design Award – Under 40 Metres in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
Lawson Robb were approached by their English client to create Project Haze. The Client had commissioned three residential projects previously within the Allect International Design Group, which houses brands Lawson Robb, Rigby and Rigby and Helen Green Design. The client was on the lookout for a new-build yacht to use in the Mediterranean and the Client entrusted the team to find and commission the yacht itself to suit the Client’s brief before beginning work on the interiors.
VISTA 43M BY HEYSEA YACHTS
Heysea Yachts have been shortlisted for the Motor Yacht Over 40 Metres Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
Vista 43M features styling and naval architecture from the shipyard’s in-house team. Aiming to set new standards in terms of comfort, flexibility and space, Heysea Yachts decided to push boundaries where possible, moving ceilings up and replacing walls with glass – all on the basis of a transoceanic luxury yacht. Additionally, bearing a significant volume of 701 gross tons, she spreads her twin hulls across a nearly 40-foot (12.15-meter) beam.
