Where does your design inspiration come from?
South Africa is so diverse and such a melting pot of style and people that one can find inspiration in almost anything. With eleven official languages, inspired lifestyles whether African, Asian or Western influenced are just such a treasure trove of inspiration for me. My mind never stops and I am like a sponge of inspiration. I celebrate diversity and culture and I think its a great starting point in understanding your client and what their needs are.
Look Back At 2019
Though initially designed by Nick Plewman Architects (NPA), Michele Throssell Interiors, together with NPA, were approached in 2018 to breathe new life into Toulon House. The homeowner, who is passionate about wildlife and has interests in the game lodges in the area, wanted a space that would meet the needs of the family, their friends and the business associates who visit their home frequently.
