Kelli Richards Designs Make The Shortlist
Situated downtown Montreal, this luxurious 2,000sq ft. pied a terre was designed by Kelli Richards Designs for a family with exceptional taste. The designers were tasked with the project which included selecting, designing, and procuring all furniture, lighting, and décor, as well as designing and installing custom built-ins and bath vanities.

Where does your design inspiration come from?
I’ve always been attracted to the beauty of simplicity. Figures drawn on a Grecian vase, the fine line drawings of Henri Mattise, and the simple, yet dramatic shapes of a Robert Motherwell painting, appeal to my personal design aesthetic. Beauty and design inspiration is everywhere when you are mindful. I believe good designers see with a different lens. We notice patterns, textures, colour palettes, shapes, and the play and interaction of elements.
Look Back At 2018
Atelier Cachet was commissioned to design the interior of the 14,000 square foot estate, develop design concepts & schematic and create a boutique hotel look and feel that was an expression of the couple’s personality, energy and their lifestyle. The design vision had to be modern, inspiring with clean lines, while creating impact and maximum comfort. A large number of items in the property were designed bespoke by the Atelier Cachet team to create the ultimate in luxury living.
