Therefore, the walls were taken down and as a result, the kitchen is now open and central to the aforementioned wider environment of the house. How would you describe your personal interior design style?
My design style is classic, and I am attracted to sophisticated and elegant forms — but I will always put a modern twist on the classic.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
I find inspiration in fashion, architecture and my travels around the world. Traveling and living in different countries has helped me understand and appreciate the beauty that can be found in different cultures. I find design inspiration in many different forms. An Armani jacket in Italy, origami in Japan or a yurt in central Asia. There is design inspiration all around us.

For Colorado Coastal, extensive custom furniture and finishes were created to solve specific needs in each room, which makes the magic for this project. In the main living area, two custom sectionals mirror each other to fill the expansive space between the kitchen island, fireplace, and 2 walls of glass doors leading outside.
